Coaching Clinics
While Region 4 does not currently have another Clinic scheduled,
here are some nearby U6 - U12 Clinics:

July 26, Newbury Park
August 2, Thousand Oaks
August 16, Thousand Oaks
August 16, Newbury Park

And this is the next nearby Intermediate (U14) Clinic:

August 8, Thousand Oaks

Please use the instructions below to either register for one or find alternates.

Important: You must register at www.eayso.org to receive credit.

Our Region does NOT recognize "online" coach training except for Safe Haven.

Here's how to register for our clinic or locate any other clinic in case the above date doesn't fit your schedule:

Go to www.eAYSO.org and log in (this is the same place from where you printed your Volunteer Forms [aka: CVPA Forms]).

At the bottom of the right column, click "Enroll to take a class."

On the resulting page you'll see ways to fine-tune your selection.  You don't need to worry about the State, City or dates at this point.  Pull down Section > 10 and then you'll be able to pull down Area > E.  Lastly, pull down the Course to the one you're looking for (for example, "U-10 Coach" or "Intermediate Coach"). Then click the Search button.

That will give you a list of the clinics in our area.  Note that you might have multiple pages with course listings.

If you mouse-over the Comments block on the far right, you'll see any details posted with regard to time(s), location, etc.  If there's no info, simply call the individual listed as the contact for that clinic.  His/her number is next to their name.

If you don't find what you're looking for, select Section > 10 but don't specify "Area," which will widen the geographic results.  Also keep checking back, since some Regions don't add their clinic listings until just a week or two in advance.

When you find one you want, click the round 'radio button' on the far left for that particular course and then click the Course Signup button on the bottom of the page.  That's it!

If you have questions, please contact Scott Dobbie at SDobbie@AYSORegion4.com.

PLEASE NOTE:  You will not be able to register for a course if you have not completed a volunteer form.

You will also be required to take Safe Haven if you have not already done so since mid-2012.

AYSO's Safe Haven Course

You'll be asked for your AYSO ID#.  If you don't recall your ID#, simply login at www.eAYSO.org and your ID# will appear next to your name.

This course takes only about 35 minutes online.

IMPORTANT: Safe Haven was updated in mid-2012.  Among other changes, there is now the CDC Concussion Awareness Training, which you'll be prompted to take immediately following successful completion of Safe Haven.

However, once you take this revised version, you will not need to repeat it unless it updates at some future point.
